Susan Caplan is the founder and director of Susan Caplan Vintage Collection, the UK’s market leader in vintage jewellery and accessories.

Susan discovered an early passion for antiques, seeking treasures all over her native London. A year working aboard the QEII further fuelled her interest in buying, as she explored bazaars and markets in every corner of the world.

Relocating to Glasgow to raise her family, Susan expanded her hobby to a profession, dealing in a variety of fine antiques, from china to furniture. Vintage costume jewellery and accessories, however, always beguiled her the most.

Upon her return to London in 2008, she established her own excusive line and the Susan Caplan Vintage Collection was born. SCVC is now featured in the UK’s finest retail establishments, including Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.

Susan still travels the world in search of her unique and beautiful vintage pieces, personally selecting every item.
